4.0 out of 5 stars Disorganised daughter, 18 Aug 2006
By rgkjersey "rk" (Jersey, Channel Islands) - See all my reviews
I borrowed this book from our library (where it had been donated by the local Dyslexia Association) and asked my 14 yr old daughter (not dyslexic) to read it as her school report was full of comments like "needs to be more oganised"! She has now suggested that I buy her a copy which must be a good result. I found the book full of helpful tips on learning styles, how to get organised for school & homework, note taking, essay writing and revision. With the GCSE years about to start, I'm glad we have this to help with the planning.

3.0 out of 5 stars Best practice, 6 Dec 2002
By A Customer
An excellent book for dyslexics and non-dyslexics alike up to GCSE level: practical; can be used in the classroom; every teacher should have one! Also Advanced Study Skills by same author (with Frances Ward) - published by SEN publishing - excellent for AS, A level and advanced VCE students. A must have.
