This is a useful information source for fans of senior non-league clubs. A page of info, including: A black and white picture of the ground, latest admission prices, nearest rail/bus/police stations and contact numbers for police and club, disabled facilities, ground capacity, address, directions and even the size of the pitch is devoted to each of the teams in the Nationwide Conference and the Ryman, Dr Martens and Unibond Premier Division but no more. There is also a results grid from 01-02 which extends to all Conference and each of the feeder leagues down to ryman division three, plus trophy and vase results and 2002-03 fixtures for the senior leagues. worth a look. Excellent value for money at £5.99.

To be honest, I expected a lot more for [the price]. The photographs are mostly old ones (especially from the Ryman league) - a lot of the data is out of date.

Take for example Canvey Island - there isn't even a picture of the ground, just a very old action shot, that is 3 or 4 years old. The website details are missing, and the admission prices, capacity figures are all wrong.

I would have thought that the author would have completed better research before publication - this is the first and probably last time that I will buy this.

This book has everything you need to know about the non-league clubs from the Conference to the three feeder leagues (Dr. Martens, Ryman and the UniBond). It has details of the clubs with directions, contacts, a little bit of history and there is a pic of the clubs ground as well. It's well worth the buy if you go to watch non-league football or if you just want to broadern you footballing knowledge. As a Gateshead FC supporter this book was very helpful to me so I could find my way to other grounds with ease.

This book is just what a supporter needs to have, if he want to cruise around looking for matches in those levels, where football is still real. Read more
