This review is from: The Best of Granta Travel (Hardcover)

Bill Bryson, Salmon Rushdie and others contribute chapters to this book from their autobiographical/travel works. Excellent stories, each and every one. Even if they were fictional stories they'd be exceptional, but knowing that those butterflies were really there and the men with guns really threatened them just makes it that much more exciting. Good on Granta for putting these in hardcover for us. I'd recommend to anyone with a sense of adventure.
