It was recently reported in the press that the average cost of a wedding in the UK was now up at £16,000! When I got married, I only had a fraction of that to spend, but I still wanted a big white wedding, with 100 guests, lovely food, and so on. So I became a DIY bride! I made my own invitations, did some of my own flowers, made my jewellery and my husband and I even made the cake together and did the catering. I had no previous experience of doing any of this and ended up buying lots of books to guide me through the experience.
I've written this book for any brides out there who would like to do the same thing but don't want to spend a fortune buying books on cake decoration, card making and flower arranging. This book will tell you how to do the lot! There's chapters on photos, transport and entertainment, your venue, the dress - everything you need to know to have a dream wedding on a budget.

I found this book invaluable. It is full of tips and hints for DIY brides and full of money saving ideas and things to make yourself. I wouldn't be without it.
