Product Description

Synopsis
A collection of miniature needlework projects showing how to recreate furnishings and accessories typical of the Georgian period, including Queen Anne and Regency styles. The designs have been simplified for ease of working in miniature while retaining the spirit of the originals. There are over 40 projects, reflecting the wide influences and decorative trends of the era, and demonstrating how the elegance of the period lends itself to embroidery and needlework skills. The projects include carpets and rugs, curtains, screens, pictures, wallhangings, bedcovers, cushions, samplers, chair covers and footstools.
