3.0 out of 5 stars No CD, consider version 5 instead, 9 Sep 1999

Just received this book so haven't read it yet. I've been waiting for version 6 to replace the same author's book on MFC 4. Now I wish I'd bought the MFC 5 version which has the entire text and source code on a CD. The book says that the code is obtainable from Wrox's web site, but on Sept 9th 1999 there are no files there.

I still hope that the contents will be up to the author's previous high standards, but without a searchable electronic text it is going to be a lot less useful than it might have been.

The Book is suitable for the beginner and intermediate C++ programing. Lots of tips and very good description about the fundametal function, dialog, application.... Plus example to follow.
