.... Main problem is that far too much has been packed in . Mostly, it just doesn't link together . Theres a bit on everything , and not very much on anything . Good if you like books with a bright red cover .

This is the best VC++ book what I ever has read. It covers C++ and then moves on through MFC and ActiveX controls I leaned VC++ really quickly and I have already learned C by the samr author.

Ivor explained some points of MFC in detail, but the sample of Sketch is too lengthy, readers must be as patient as Ivor to finish it.

Another shortcoming is the topics are not numered, readers can easily get lost.
