I liked this book when I got it, as I was expecting just a book about getting the best out of my digital camera - but half of this substantial book also deals with what to do with your digital photo's when you get them in a computer, using PhotoShop (there was a good demo on the CD along with tutorial files). Good tutorials in the second part on retouching photo's, fixing them, colour correcting and all of that stuff, really interesting and the first half of the book has been very useful with my digital photography, for the price I've got to recommend it!

The narrative of this book is very good but all of the photographs are in black and white. I assume there used to be a colour version as the author refers the the differences between the white balance of two photographs that appear exactly the same in black and white!

In addition the proofreading was very poor with some obvious spelling errors.
