Product Description

Synopsis

A star in his own right, Stark has appeared in many movies including the "Pink Panther" films and "The Goon Show". His memoir reveals through witty anecdote the often surprising events that have occurred behind and in front of the camera, featuring Hollywood legends such as David Niven, Cary Grant, Yul Brynner, Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Caine, Bruce Willis, and of course, his great friend Peter Sellers. Offering a profile of one of the last bastions of the golden age of British comedy, Graham's memoirs are illustrated with his own photographs of many of the film world's most celebrated faces. He also pays tribute to friends he met along the way in his career, including HRH Princess Margaret and Graham's long-time comic buddy, Spike Milligan.

5.0 out of 5 stars A treat for movie fans and photography buffs, 17 Feb 2008
By Material Girl (Surrey, UK) - See all my reviews
I can echo everything said by the previous reviewer. However, for me, the wonderful thing about Graham Stark was that he took his camera bag with him everywhere. His black and white portraits of the famous and soon-to-be-famous are technically extremely good and repay careful study.
