As always, Henwood has provided a superb guide to taking care of chipmunks. In fact, this is probably the best of his books on chipmunks, especially for the novice. Most information the prospective owner would need is included in a clear, understandable and structured way. The housing and dietary requirements of chipmunks are covered in detail, as are their common health problems. The section on breeding also covers chipmunk genetics and a guide to hand rearing babies. Anyone considering buying a chipmunk should buy at least one of Henwood's books. Although they cover largely the same ground, each of his books contain some information and tips not included in the others. Therefore, it would be a good idea to buy as many of them as you can afford.
