5.0 out of 5 stars Packed full of practical advice and also an enjoyable read!, 15 Aug 2001
By A Customer
If you're going to Morocco this is most definitely the book to buy. Not only is it immensely useful - with practical information on the best places to visit, stay and eat - but rare for a travel guide, it's also an enjoyable read. It reveals the magic of this exotic land from the bustling souks of Marrakech, to the cool peaks of the Atlas Mountains and the lush oases in the saharan desert. Invaluable!

1.0 out of 5 stars better as a doorstop, 6 Nov 2006
this guide is crap. granted, some of the commentary is interesting and amusing but the awful maps (often detailed with only three or four street names) and the inaccurate pricing system (accommodation is classified as "cheap," "inexpensive," "expensive," or "luxury" - usually incorrectly) make it more suitable as a weapon of defence against one of the country's hundreds of faux-guides than as a source of reliable information. look elsewhere. anywhere else.
