Product Description
Bringing the traditional craft of rag rugs into the 21st century, this guide presents an array of modern ideas, while acknowledging the craft's roots. Projects range from a simple one-colour design, to abstract patterns and vibrant folk art, using the techniques of hooking, prodding, clipping and braiding. Every project covers a different aspect of rug-making, whether it be combining techniques, thinking about use of colour or learning to transfer a pictorial design onto hessian. The projects are explained with clear, step-by-step instructions, helpful illustrations, colour diagrams and photographs.
