i have been given this book twice - once as a birthday present and another time as a housewarming present. it is wonderful! i have only had two recipes that have not worked so well so far but it is clear and easy to use for both the beginner and experienced cook.

it encourages you to use a wide variety of ingredients and even has recipes for newer foods like quorn

it also has a great collection of recipes that ardent meat eaters would enjoy - a tasty way to bring in variety into your repertoire.
