5.0 out of 5 stars an explosion of felt in a beautifully photgraphed book!, 4 Sep 2002
If your just starting to explore felt or even if you are an experienced felter, this book is a must. It has a brief history of felt followed by a list of all the basic equipment and materials you will need to complete the projects. All instructions for the basic technique of felting and all projects have excellent step by step instructions accompanied with very clear and easy to follow photographs. The projects are also varied from felting in a cat litter tray (particularly good for children to do, as the water is contained in the tray) to making a bowl using a football as a resist!. I am currently taking my city and guilds feltmaking 7802-67, this book is very inspirational and will leave you yearning for more, even though it already contains 25 exciting projects*

* projects are mainly handfelted, but some are machine pressed felt.
