Synopsis
This companion volume to "Vespa: An illustrated history" charts the full history of the Italian Lambretta, from its introduction just after World War II by the Innocenti Company in Milan, through to 1972 when they stopped production and sold the tooling to the Lambretta manufacturer in India. Every Italian model is listed including mopeds and three-wheelers, giving production figures, spec and pictures for each one. The book features accessories such as workshop tools, product and advertising literature, calendars, handbooks and race records.

This book contains the complete history of the Lambretta and if anyone should know the history it is Nigel Cox. He is the leading authority on the Lambretta and lives in Weston super Mare, Somerset, UK.

He is the owner of the Lambretta museum where he has every model of Lambretta ever made. Behind the museum is one of the largest stocks of Lambretta parts and memorabilia in the world. ...

If you want to know about the Lambretta this book is a must, it is written by a man who is Mr Lambretta. Buy it now.

I've only seen Nigel Cox's Lambretta Museum on DVD and would like to have visited it. Reading this book is the next best thing - it's packed with pictures, facts and anecdotes. My one criticism is the poor quality of the paper used - on each page you can see a shadow of the other side - but the book is still worth every penny.

Nigel's Book Lambretta: An Illustrated History....
IS A Must have for All who Remember,
Own or want to Own An Innocenti Lambretta!
It offers an Easy to Read account of How the Lambretta became such A Huge part of Our Lives and Why many Years from Now...
Both Young & Old will be either in their shed restoring their Lammy
Or out on A Ride Enjoying the fruits of Mr Innocenti's Labour
I still refer to it many years after 1st buying it as it has so many hidden gems Of Info from the photo's of facts that come in well handy
