Although Japan's smallest motorcycle manufacturer, Kawasaki has had a huge impact on the motorcycling world. Prominent in competition, with Eddie Lawson and Wayne Rainey claiming four victories in the AMA Superbike Championship, the marque also scored in the World Superbike Championship when Scott Russell won the 1993 title. Since then, Stefan Everts and Sebastien Tortelli have won world motorcross championships. Here is the full story of this marque and it's road and competition bikes.

I found this book to be very interesting. It gives a lot of information on the history of Kawasaki from their ship building upto the 2000 ZX12R. some good photos mainly black and white but some colour. It goes into detail about the road bikes especialy the air cooled inline fours Z1's and Z2's and some models I had never heared of. If like me you are a fan on the big K it is worth getting a copy. Might make a good stocking filler.
