5.0 out of 5 stars Quirky but beautifully produced Ferrari hagiography, 16 Jan 2002
By Peter Fenelon - See all my reviews
(TOP 50 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
Something of a Ferrari 'Festschrift', this book takes a detailed but none-too-critical look at the men, the machines and the history of Ferrari. The text is informative (although occasionally the translation shows rather painfully), particularly on the 50s and 60s; the driver memoirs often fascinating, the photography is generally stunning and as an accessible one-volume book on Ferrari on road and track this is something most enthusiasts of the Maranello marque will covet.
