3.0 out of 5 stars OK, but author's tendency to overdramatize is quite annoying, 18 Nov 1999
This book is not a bad one. Considering that not too many books are written about GM, this book might give the reader general idea about who he is as a person, especially in the light of recent events. As much as I love GM (in fact, he is my favorite living musician), I think that at this point there is really nothing much to write about unless it was an autobiography...The tone of this book is too dramatic for a biography about bright, likable, successful, thirty-five year old pop-star. I mean, we all know about his career by now and thanks to his good nature and relative openness, we now know about his life: bad things as well as good ones. So, I say if you like biographies with sence of drama and very few photos, then this book might do you good; otherwise, it is not worth spending money on it.
