Product Description

Product Description

The Elemental Tarot is an extraordinary deck, a distillation of centuries of mystical ideas and generations of symbolic design. Caroline Smith's cards depict clear, bold imagery rich in symbolism. Her 22 Major Arcana cards are represented by the element Spirit, and her Minor suits are associated with elements Fire, Earth, Air and Water. John Astrop's text in the accompanying book explains each card concisely, and shows how readings can be made. The Elemental Tarot quickly gets down to easy-to-understand basics and speeds up the learning process. Its beauty and wisdom will heighten your own awareness of life and its possibilities, and it will soon become an indispensable companion.

About the Author

Caroline Smith's paintings hang in collections throughout the world and she exhibits regularly in galleries in Europe and the US. Caroline's knowledge of symbolism and feeling for colour add powerfully to the imagery of her cards. John Astrop, Caroline's husband, is an astrologer, author and artist. Formerly a lecturer at Hornsey Art College, he later became interested in astrology and joined the Astrological Lodge of London and the Astrological Association.
