5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Fantastic!, 24 Aug 2001
By A Customer
... it is worth every penny. It charts every single year of the F1 World Championship up to 1999,giving insights into the all-time greats including Fangio,Moss, and more modern drivers with the likes of Senna and the great Michael Schumacher. The book has big chunky pages full of archive photos and descriptions of the main cars and drivers of that era. Year by year the book gives a very clear indication of the evolulions and revolutions in Formula One car design, also seperating each decade with a few pages of words from a big name of the era. Because of the enormous detail of each season in F1,it is impossible for the book to give full account of each individual race, but a good job has been done to paint the picture with accurate season reviews.

This is an excellent choice of book to all interested in the sport's history, and I enjoyed it hugely!
