Product Description
Synopsis
Broadcasting and the media are fast-moving areas of work, offering a range of opportunities, both technical and creative, behind-the-scenes and in the public eye. This book takes a candid look at this field - TV, radio, the national press - and the diverse opportunities it has to offer. Packed with insights and tips from people actually working in this field, the text should give the reader the low down on what it's really like to work in broadcasting and the media, and help them decide whether it's for them. The book is organized into three key sections: the job, the person and getting in, getting on, getting out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Indispensable guide to the media maze!, 14 Aug 2001
By A Customer
This is one of the most useful and well-informed books that I have read on the subject. The information on new-media has been invaluable and has really helped me. I was struggling for direction before reading this book but it has truly helped me get where I want. I'd like to shake the author by the hand!
