5.0 out of 5 stars A fabulous book for trainers, parents and learners, 14 Oct 2003
Until now, learning about how we learn seemed to be a well-kept secret, taught only to teachers and trainers. No one ever thought to tell the learners how we learn, in order for them to get even more from every experience. Well, I needn't worry anymore, I just refer everyone (and I mean everyone) to this book. It is beautifully set out in easy to read chunks, with tips and ideas for trainers and parents as you go along. I take my copy with me whenever I'm training, and more often than not, I refer to it (if not it's something to read on the train, or in my hotel room!). When training other trainers, I give them each a copy, instead of my own manual, as it says everything I want to say, and does it so much better than I ever could. If you are even the slightest bit curious about how we learn, then read this book!
