Despite its uncertain borders, few will argue that South India, the tapering tropical region of the peninsular, offers a marked contrast to the landlocked north. In the pages of this book, you will be taken to the sultry humidity of Chennai, the Coconut Grove of the South and the luminescent rice paddies.
