i bought this book a week before buying my guitar, and found it very usefull both before buying and afterwards. it gives clear diagrams on how guitars work, and how to play them, it also contains guides on how to tune a guitar, change the strings and even what to do when traveling on a plane and in a car with your guitar. the book is primarally about the electric guitar, but i found it very useful for bass guitar as well (which it does give tips for,) As it containd all the diagrams for the above, tuning etc, but for a four string bass. It also gives a total walkthrough on checks to do befor buying a guitar, which makes are the best and usefull websites to use and buy from. if you have got a bass or electric guitar, or are just about to buy one, i promise you this is the best and only book to buy on your guitar.
