The Rough Guide to Indonesia is a must for anyone with serious travel in mind. Having visited Indonesia myself, this book will be an invaluable insight for travellers into a country of enormous cultural differences. It is as accurate as it is possible for a travel book to be in a country where political change makes accuracy an uncertainty.
The individual sections on each region make it easy to plan routes, with excellent references on places to stay, shop, eat and explore. Whether you are a backpacker who wants to soak up culture until you are fit to burst, or wish to veg. out in a decent hotel for a couple of weeks this book has it all.

There is also a handy language section at the back, for people who are not afraid to try the local language.

A good all round book packed with useful facts and background information. You will not be disappointed in the purchase of this book.
