4.0 out of 5 stars A good way to revise, 3 Mar 2001
By A Customer
I found that this revision guide was a great way to revise. I used it during half term to revise for my mocks. It is very easy to use as it is split into topics and it also recommends how long you should spend on that particular topic. This helped me to keep on track. Another good feature of this book is that it had a little test before the section, which you could do to see whether you need to revise it our not. I would say though that it is a guide that you should use with another source, I found that the book did not cover all the topics in my syllabus, e.g. there were topics that were not on my syllabus and there were topics on my syllabus that were not in the guide.

A great little book which is compact and gives you the feeling that you CAN get your head round this difficult subject! I hate the subject and came out with a C, if that's any indication!! :o)

4.0 out of 5 stars Revise G.C.S.E Chemistry in a week - sorted !, 21 Jul 2003
Dan Evans and Alex Watts provide a concise and valuable revision guide, which is a must for every chemistry student! Whilst the guide can be criticised for its simplicity, Evans and Watts serve to clarify many of the basic principles of the course, in turn providing a vital foundation for any student's revision. This guide is primarily aimed for students expecting a grade C, yet it acts as an initial building block for all students. Written by those who have considerable experience with the examination process, I thoroughly recommend this book to any one. It helped me achieve a grade A in chemistry and you can be high flyers too with the help of this book! The title lives up to expectations. Thanks guys
