3.0 out of 5 stars Looks good but..., 10 April 2003
By A Customer
This book is well organised with clearly marked pages so its easy to understand and navigate your way around. However, it definately gives me the feeling that it does not contain nearly enough depth to get you a good grade. This is VERY much an overview. For example, a unit that takes up a great hunk of sheets in your folder is only given maybe ten pages here. When trying to look for specific information I haven't found it. Steven Chapman is also one of the authors named on Sociology for A2 (ISBN 0007134657) and that book is WAY thicker. The guide promises that you will get at least an E but I doubt with its lack of depth it would get you the higher grades.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent buy, 11 Aug 2002
Chapman has produced a work that fits a much needed gap in the market- an up-to-date and concise revision guide. Chapters are clearly indicated and marked out with easy to follow sections and questions at the end help in revision of what has been covered The separate revision section is a valuable aid in pointing out the relevant and most important points for study. Written by a chief examiner any work in his/her subject would be useful- but written so well and so succinctly these books are a great help. Yet another success from a voluminous writer- where does he find the time to sleep!
