Product Description

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS is an erotic adventure story in which the reader can choose what happens next. The book is divided into two halves(men read from one end, women the other)and each chapter gives a choice of sexual fantasies or 'doors'to open next. The story opens,in both cases, with a glimpse of a stranger at the entrance to a travelling circus;you choose the ending-do the central characters, having learned from theiradventures how to love,go off together or seperately?

5.0 out of 5 stars Sizzlingly sexy, great fun - exactly what erotica should be, 15 Dec 2000
By A Customer
This book is simply divine. Reyes takes the old idea of the 'adventure book' where the reader has to choose which path to take, and uses it to frame some wonderfully inventive and fun fantasy sexual encounters. The book is printed for men to start at one end, and women to start at the other, hopefully meeting in the middle if you make the right choices. However, if you're broadminded enough to read the book in the first place, you'll almost certainly be sneaking a look at the opposite sex's path (speaking of which, Alina Reyes understands male sexuality better than any other woman writer I've found - she could get a eunuch hot under the collar).

Fantastic, uninhibited, sexy, dirty, and great fun. Do yourself a favour - buy one copy for yourself and one for your significant other, and see where you meet!

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute drivel!!! A complete and utter waste of money, 30 Aug 2001
By ebatch "ebatch" (London - the centre of the world) - See all my reviews
Incoherent, bland. A hotch potch of sketches lacking in any real sexuality or sensuality.

The scenes described are rigid & remote and do not conjure up any involvement from the reader. For example "We got undressed and took up our positions....".

The sex scenes, such as they are, are very short (a paragraph if you are lucky) and consequently give no impression of desire and urgency building during foreplay. Neither is there any descriptive narrative for the actual intercourse. It just happens and is over with in a sentence or two.

In fact it almost reminded me of Mills and Boon where the sex (that takes place) is never mentioned. The problem with this book is that it has nothing around the missing sex / erotica.

Avoid at all costs.
