5.0 out of 5 stars The best of The Woodstock Saga, 12 Dec 2005
I preferred this book to the rest of the trilogy because with the rest of the books I got a bit impatient towards the end and just wanted to finish them. This one is written very well with splendid ideas and I particularly liked the character of Crag. It is the sequal to The Silver Tide and I'm looking forward to reading The Golden Flight. Redwall, Watership Down and Duncton Wood lovers will enjoy The Woodstock Saga.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a very gripping book, 4 Feb 2001
By A Customer
The Second Wave is one of my all time favourite books, it has a mixture of real life and fantasy, the squirrels are like real people, and their 'kernels' would be of use to guide us through life. If you enjoyed the 'redwall' books by Brian Jaques or the first book in the trilogy (The Silver Tide), you will love this book! Happy reading!
