5.0 out of 5 stars Not just for Railway minded people, 5 Dec 2002
By Bob. (London) - See all my reviews
This book gives an insight in to the life of the Author, not just his time on the Railway but how the job effects a Railwaymans life in general.

A book that should be targeted at the general public who use the Tube as well as Railway minded people.

Full of facts about the Railway that would interest everybody.

Well worth buying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mind the Doors, 31 Aug 2004
By A Customer
Ever wondered what happens in the cab of a tube train, this says everything you need to know. It makes you realise there is a human driving your train!
The writer has done many years working for london underground and this can be clearly seen in his book, its very easy reading and opens your eyes to the underground system. I hope that the author does more books like this, it would be great to hear more about this secret lifestyle of train drivers, sorry train operators have.
It for all ages, lots of pictures and information about the system, you dont have to be a spotter to find this book a great read.

This book is a must for anyone, (child or adult), who has even the remotest interest in Tube Trains, with some humerous ancedotes from the authors life.
EXCELLENT READING.
