Product Description

Product Description

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a revolutionary approach to human communication and development based on the discovery that by changing how you think, you can transform what you think. It helps you to modify your thought and behavioural patterns to suit your projected goals. NLP literally "re-programs" your mind and your life - for faster learning, better relationships and greater success. NLP will change your life. It has already helped millions of people overcome fears, increase confidence, enrich relationships and achieve greater success. Now, the NLP Comprehensive Training Team, a team of counsellors, coaches and consultants, draw on years of personal and professional experience to create an effective guidebook to learning and applying this technology to achieve what you want. The reader can learn to: master powerful techniques of persuasion and negotiation; eliminate fears, phobias and low self-esteem in minutes; and learn the success secrets of top achievers. Every chapter in this step-by-step guide includes exercises to help you master specific NLP techniques, and a new 21-day programme, created especially for this book, provides the essential skills needed to achieve peak performance in business and in life. Charles Faulkner is the author of "NLP: The New Technology of Achievement" and "Success and Mastery with NLP".

5.0 out of 5 stars A good place to start, 9 Jul 2006
By Spider Monkey (UK) - See all my reviews
(TOP 50 REVIEWER)
This is a great place to start if you're interested in NLP and what it has to offer. This book is full of exercises you can do yourself to see the immediate effect of NLP and how you can apply it in your life. It is clear to read and shows you how to use the ideas discussed to overcome some obstacles that may be holding you back. A good introduction to the subject.

4.0 out of 5 stars Recommended even for UK readers (by an NLP trainer), 30 Jul 1999
By A Customer
Shed loads of practical, easy techniques for self-help, personal development and achieving your goals. Some British readers might find the relentless "American" positivity and can-do attitude a bit grating. My advice: get over it! Our national cynicism is very useful in some contexts, but you have to use it discriminatingly or you can end up missing out on some really good stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Book, 28 Nov 1999
By S. James (England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
If its an understanding of NLP you're after, and the chance to practice some exercises, easily and clearly explained in plain english, then this is the book for you. I knew nothing of NLP, and after reading this book was inspired enough to go to a seminar on the subject. Now, some six months later, I am looking into taking a practitioner course. If you want enough info to make a valued decision, without being baffled by lots of technical stuff, buy this book.
