4.0 out of 5 stars Family Fortunes, 22 Nov 2003
By jonny stack (London United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This thriller is pacey and racey, gliding effortlessly between Europe and the United States as friendships and family interactions unfold. These intense relationships are woven into the commercial world where a number of twists and turns emerge cleverly over time. Heightened life expectations allied to hopes and dreams are deftly exposed by the author in a dazzling tour de force.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very pleasant surprise, 6 Jan 2004
By Jeffrey Bowman (London, England) - See all my reviews
I really must share with other visitors to your website my enthusiasm for this novel. I was given a copy as a Christmas present and have to say that I was at first a bit sceptical ("....one foolish act sets in motion a series of disastrous consequences for those caught up in its aftermath.." says the blurb on the jacket!). My initial reaction, however, evaporated as soon as I got stuck into the first chapter and, with apologies for using such a well-worn cliche,I just could not put the book down. A must-have for your library.

5.0 out of 5 stars a wonderful novel., 12 Dec 2003
By Sylvie Bromberg (Paris,France) - See all my reviews
From the moment I started reading this book I was immersed in the most exciting love triangle. Obviously something quite familiar to the author. If you have never been to Paris, this novel takes you to its most beautiful and fashionable areas.
All in all Blood Ties is an exciting and emotional rollercoaster and I trully enjoyed the ride!
