Product Description

Book Description

Ayurveda: How to Balance Your Diet is a fascinating and revealing introduction into one of the world's oldest dietary systems. As relevant today as it has been in India over the centuries, Ayurveda aims to create and preserve our health by achieving a state of balance in our bodies, mainly through our diet.

In this informative and authoritative book by an expert on Ayurveda and the science of life, we are offered a well-established, safe and sensible route out of the morass and into a harmonious lifestyle of well-being and health.

About the Author

Bryan Osborne was posted to India during his National Service in 1946 at the age of twenty. He was profoundly impressed with the spiritual and meditative aspects of Indian culture and studied the famous Indian classic, the Gita, which introduced him to the philosophy of Ayurveda. the author returned to India in 1968, working with the aid organisation, War on Want, and has worked as an accountant in industry and private practice. A long-standing vegetarian, he believes that much-needed food reform is now taking place.
