5.0 out of 5 stars Chess knockouts, 25 Jun 2002
By Mark Moody (Cranbrook, Kent United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This is a really interesting book for someone who already knows the basics of the game, and now wants to improve by learning a few sneaky tricks and traps! All sorts of openings are covered and by playing through the examples you get to learn what NOT to do in each opening. I've used it a lot with a school chess club, and it always makes the students laugh when they see how easy it is to get 'caught out'.
Highly recommended.
