3.0 out of 5 stars It's OK, 20 Mar 2003
First time I've read anything by Andrew Harman. Yes, it was alright. A light-hearted, easy to read novel. Probably suffers from the comparisons with Terry Pratchett, but there's no escaping it I'm afraid. Similar subject matter, similar writing styles and even similar cover designs.

All in all, quite enjoyable, but nothing earth-shattering.

5.0 out of 5 stars Under-rated yet fantastic, 3 Jun 2000
By A Customer
This book is absolutely amazing. It is written in the same way that Terry Pratchett writes but it is better. This is one of the best books I've ever read I just don't understand why it is so under-rated.
