covers everything from making sure you are mentally prepared to run your own business and writing your first business plan, through to bookeeping and legal advice.
Mr Power writes from personal experience and the case studies and personal anecdotes which appear throughout the book make it feel very truthfull and inspiring (if he can do starting from cards in newsagents windows, so can I!).
It never strays from being about running a gardening business - there are chapters about what tools are needed, different jobs to be done at what time of year etc..,
It's inspired me to get started in my research, and I recommend this to anyone wanting to take the plunge and start up on their own as a professional gardner.

This book has been worth its weight in gold! I can seriously say that it is ideal for anyone wanting to start their own gardening business, but not sure where to start or need a shove in the right direction.
I have taken Paul Power's advice and now have a business up and running...
Go for it!!

Having been a gardener for many years i thought i'd start up my own business. I was going to rush this process as i thought i knew enough already about this subject.Luckily for me i came across this book which i read in one day, and if i'd have started up without the helpful information in this book i know that i would have been in for a rough ride.Hopefully i will be starting off on this adventure soon having been more cautious and prepared because of this well and easy explained book.I'm sure now that i will do much better because of the advice!!
