5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent tips if you want a job in TV, 18 Dec 2005
I'm a producer/director, and I spend a lot of my time now teaching people to direct. I always recommend this book (well the first edition). It's the clearest guide to what the job's really like that I've ever seen; and it's an easy read - the author sprinkles funny anecdotes throughout, making even the chapter on music copyright entertaining.

Highly recommended, for anyone looking for their first job; or in their first few years working in the industry.
