2.0 out of 5 stars Basic common sense stuff not practical advice, 23 Mar 2003
By A Customer
I suppose it depends what you're looking for, but I was very disappointed in this book. What it does, it does well, but it just doesn't go far enough. For example, it points out that you need to think about whether you can manage a property yourself or whether you need an agent. Great - I'd never have thought about that if I hadn't read the book!! But advice on types of agents, likely costs, how to go about finding one etc is nowhere to be seen. That was what I was looking for and was disappointed not to find
