Desperately lacks the real detail that would give you confidence in moving to Germany. It's a sort of glorified visitors guide aimed at know nothing level with tips like "Why not start learning German?" and "this is how to make gingerbread".

I'm sorry I bought it and amazed really that anyone would publish this for people to rely on.

We found this book was just right. It provided enough information without being overwhelming and was enjoyable to read. It did not have as much information as some we have read but it was a brilliant introduction to life in Germany.
