1.0 out of 5 stars E for Effort, but no cigar, 5 Aug 2003

This is possibly one of the most uninspired books on NLP that I've come across.

To be fair, the authors do deserve to be congratulated on at least trying to write a book on NLP by using NLP.
Unfortunately they seem to have bitten off more they could chew and the result is repetitious and often highly negative in tone.
For me, at least, the book came across as just another run of the mill self-help book, conveying nothing of the "magic" of NLP. Perhaps this helps to explain why the website for the authors' company Green Light Relations, listed at the back of the book, now belongs to a networking company - networking computers, that is, not people.

A tiresome read and really not worth the effort.

4.0 out of 5 stars All round support for reframing your views on life, 2 April 2004
By A Customer
I have not read anything on NLP before but I've read many counselling books and this struck me as a worthwhile book for anyone to have. It has many exercises (so many you can pick and choose), that it allows you to consider all aspects of how you function and how to find a way forward when you've been stuck. Even if you don't believe in the possiblity of change this can help you achieve it.
