4.0 out of 5 stars Recommended Reading For Anyone Interested In Writing Erotica, 10 Jun 2000
By A Customer
I've read five books covering the subject and would put this title as the second best of the bunch.

The book is quite a thin one, and the price seems to be a little high for what you get. It does mean, however, that there is very little in the way of filler in the book and that every word counts. A great deal of information here is the same as that which appears in every good creative writing book, but reminders about mistakes to avoid are always useful. The language used is always clear and the writing crisp.

Although this book is definitely recommended, I think that 'Teach Yourself Writing Erotic Fiction' by Mike Bailey (or Mike Levy as it is incorrectly listed on this site) is the best book on the subject - more detailed, more relevant to the market and a little cheaper with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent introduction to the craft, 26 Feb 2000
By A Customer
This is a marvellous book for anyone wanting to learn how to write erotic fiction. Full of help on ways to plan and plot your novel and make your sensual stories really hot! I've written a number of erotic novels myself, but I still found lots of useful advice in this book. It really helped me to clarify my ideas and improve my writing.
