I have used several Sunflower books on Spring/Autumn holidays in the Med area and they always give interesting walks close to the main tourist areas. Menorca was not one of my favourites, partly because the public transport did not work very well though it may be better if you intend to hire a car.The coastal walking was good but not outstanding and some of the inland walking was on dusty roads and a bit dull. Majorca is much better.

My husband and I have used this book for two holidays to Menorca. The book provides a variety of walks that could be undertaken throughout most of the year. There are one or two which could be undertaken in the summer as they are quite shaded. The instructions are clear and we were able to find our way most of the time. The exception to this, was walk 6 where insufficient detail was given to enable us to pick up the correct path on leaving the beach. On our second visit we ensured that we had downloaded the updates, even if you have just bought the book this is worth doing, as development in Spain alters paths and routes quite quickly. There are sufficient walks for a fortnight's holiday. The book also provides information about the locations, giving historical background where appropriate. Even if you are not into walking this is a useful book for car tours and good places for picnics.

I have used these books on several trips and find them very good at finding quiet, of the beaten track places. I usually hire a car and follow some of the routes suggested in the books. I do find the walks are more for hikers rather than casual walkers like us, but we do sometimes do only parts of the walks.
I can thoroughly recommend these guides.
