this is a great book offering recipes from around spain and portugal with stunning food photography and location shots. I particularly enjoyed the introduction to each region, which puts ingredients and recipes in context in terms of history, climate and agriculture.

Absolutely beautiful book. The recipes covered focus on the different regions of the iberian peninsula and the book gives a bit more in the way of regional background and flavour. It really brought back vividly memories of wandering the regions of Spain's and Portugal's interior. Even if you never cooked one dish from it this book gives a real sense of the variety and complex influences of Iberian cookery.
Well worth every cent.
