Review
Imagine having the very best beauty pages from your favourite women's glossy magazines all put together in one sumptuous reference book. If your idea of a beauty book is one of those grim numbers from the 1970s with coy line drawings of how to make your eyes into a different shape with the clever use of eyeshadow, think again. These authors know their stuff and have focused firmly on the practical. This will probably be the only beauty book you'll ever need to buy, the only problem is you'll finish reading it and be left with a luxury shopping list as long as your arm and a bathroom cabinet that won't close. This reviewer particularly liked the comprehensive directory of spas, department stores and other purveyors of pampering. (Kirkus UK)
