5.0 out of 5 stars The Complete guide to Card Making, 11 Oct 2003
I had to wait for the book - but it was well worth it. Did consider cancelling but so glad I did not.
Unlike most card books this book goes through various techniques and lets you use your own imagination on how to use them. Instead of trying out the usual limited projects in card books.
I have re read the book several times and each time I try out new techniques and make different cards
Excellent book

5.0 out of 5 stars inspirational !, 29 Jun 2003
By annie (Derbyshire United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
I have studied this book many times, each time finding a new technique or idea for my card making. The layout is simple and each technique or design is limited to one page so it is easy to follow. I also found that most of the card examples made in the book used readily available items and materials, nothing obscure or difficult to get hold of. Not only have I learnt many new ways to make cards, I have had lots and lots of new ideas (and fun) thanks to The Complete Guide To Card Making.......it is exactly what it says it is!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read:many new ideas for 'old' card makers, 20 Jun 2003
By A Customer
I've been making cards for a couple of years now but this book was able to show me many ways to improve what I produce and try new techniques that I hadn't even thought of.......one good example was using an unthreaded sewing machine set on a fancy stitch on a piece of paper and then tearing down he edge for a very unusual effect. The instructions are very clear with plenty of colour photographs and easy to understand instructions.
