This beginner's guide to Reiki explains how anyone can be attuned to this wonderful healing energy during a weekend's course. It details the history and principles of Reiki, and shows in clear step-by-step pictures how the 12 positions are used in a normal one-hour treatment when treating someone. Self-treatment positions are also detailed. A helpful first aid chapter is included showing how the energy can help relieve common ailments. Helpful information is also given on treating children and babies, the elderly and pets.
