When I aquired my AJS I had very little idea about motorcycle engines etc. This book helped by giving a mass of information on all aspects of the models. The many photographs told me what my bike originally looked like (handle bar layout, details on the wheels and engine). The introduction showing the evolution of each model and the appendices were helpful too. When days were dark and I felt like giving up the book cheered me on to the end---I finished !
