1.0 out of 5 stars Hopeless, 13 Oct 2001
By A Customer
This "book" is really a home-produced pamphlet which might have been barely acceptable in the days of Roneo duplicators, but won't come close to the quality readers expect today. It contains no photographs or graphics of any sort, merely forty or so single-sided, typewritten (not word-processed, incredibly) pages and no colour of any sort.

All of which might have been forgivable if the text had a trace of value or interest. It hasn't.

Instead [...] you'll acquire a dreary compendium of Chiltern towns and villages, listing selected inhabitants, adjoining villages, road numbers, and so on. Each page has a large white area, as if it were planned to insert a photo. Maybe it's there so you can write in something interesting...
