I purchased this book for my partner who has been restoring 2002's for 8 years. There is so much that we have gained in terms of the hints and directions whilst working on our tii and Baur convertible. I would strongly recommend this as an essential book for anyone who owns or restores these cars.

This is a comprehensive book about the full range of BMW '02s. There are a lot of useful sections such as setting up the fuel injection and converting to 5 speed gearboxes that are not readily available elsewhere. I am sure that most '02 owners, new or old, will find something useful. My only criticism would be that the author does not provide much information about BMW specialists other than Jaymic, in Cromer, UK. As he is one of the proprieters of Jaymic, that may not be so surprising!

Mike Macartney has been restoring '02s and other fine BMWs for as long as I can remember and it shows. This book is well written, concise and yet comprehensive. No questions remain unanswered. What more could one want.
