As a big fan of bald women, I have often lamented the lack of bald female pop stars. Aside from the piercingly melodious whining of Sinead O' Connor, there had been no place to turn for many years. It was with great pleasure that I learned of Miss Spears' apparent conversion to Buddhism. Since then I have bought all of her albums, as well as a plastic lunchbox bearing her image (the perfect way to transport a tasty chicken-paste sandwich to work!). This book seemed like the ideal way to learn more about the world's favourite irresponsible mother and it did not disappoint. Never before would I have guessed that Britney is a talented figure skater who only missed out on the 1998 Winter Olympics as the result of a hernia. It was also insightful to learn that in 2001 she foiled an armed robbery in Burger King- thanks to her extensive training in the art of 'Hapkido', under Jackie Chan. However, I would have to suggest that this book falls a little short of living up to its ambitious title. If you really want 'access' to 'all areas' of Britney (in her full shaven glory), you'll need a high-speed internet connection and a credit card.

I bought this thinking it was going to be a normal sized book, but when I got it, I was shocked to see it was small enough to slot in your back pocket. I had a flick through, and was impressed with the biography and pictures. It says what you need to know about Brit, and is surprising how much info there is in it. If you collect Brit stuff and think she's the best, buy it!
